Always an adventure...even at the classiest of restaurants

With Eric Agren owner of Fuel

Being the socialite that I am often I will be invited to events, openings, and get togethers. As was the case the past two nights. Tonight I had dinner with my cousin and several friends at a new upscale restaurant/wine bar in my hometown called Fuel. The drinks, food, and service was out of this world not to mention all the very pretty girls working their. Oh, and did I mention there was one blonde with the most amazing blue eyes wearing a little black dress. As I was chatting with a patron he said to me, "There's my future ex-wife." Oh if only you girls reading this know what the little black dress does to a guy. I love blonds, but he did have a point. They're dangerous. Remember I'm only 27 and I was the youngest person at our table but for some reason with two Gilbert's a game of "butt darts" broke out. We were the last table there but for some reason everybody sitting at the bar was envious of our little game. As we applaud each other after we somehow would drop a quarter from our butt cheeks into a glass on the floor filled with water.

Weekend Fun!

One of the perks (if you want to call it that) of being a socialite is having a key to the owers box at Liquid Blue, my favorite club in Portland. Of course as you can see here somehow my sister snuck in, and then attempted to kiss me. Which of course she knows I hate... Drinks anyone?

Amore Social Club podcast

Here we are Shelly and Laurent (no I don't always refer to myself in third person, but it seemed appropriate for this) the Amore Social Club, " The Podcast That Flirts with Love" If you listen you'll find out what a 23 year old bad girl and a 27 year old nice guy have in common... and what they don't have in common.

Brighten My Day!

The top photo is from a Playboy party a few years back. The other photo is of myself with the former Miss Maine USA Katee Stearns and the current Miss Maine USA Erin Good. We were all special guests at Amore photographer Thomas Hopkins barbq last summer.

So I was going through some old photos today to load onto my Flickr that some friends have been asking me about, and I came across a couple from the past few years I thought I would share with you to brighten your day... ok, nevermind brighten my day. It's April and yes I know I live in Maine, but as I lookout my bedroom window I see it is snowing. I hate snow. Please stop.

I'm Back!

I promise I will keep up with this blog. Let's see it's been over a year since I've written. I'm always late for everything, so I guess doing the blog thing is no different.
